Prestigious Award for top Fylde Chef.

"The Lindum hotel and in particular, Paul Rowley who heads up Rowleys's outside catering division, has won recognition and praise for it's innovative food.
The International Wine and Food Society presented Paul with a prestigious award in respect of a special Spanish Evening he created for them. This award was the first of its kind to be awarded in the area for over 40 years.
'It is wonderful for the whole team when we win awards like this' explained Paul, who regularly explores different cooking cultures for inspiration."

HELLO! From Rowley's Celebrity Wedding.

It was a first for Paul Rowley when he realised that the wedding of actress Jacqueline Leonard and Alex Mansfield was to be featured in Hello Magazine.
"We knew there would be celebrity guests because Jacqui has been in BBC TV's Eastenders and is now starring alongside Christopher Timothy in "Doctors" explained Paul Rowley. "We are delighted for the happy couple when we realised that the celebrity magazine wanted to cover the wedding"
Rowleys catered the event and managed the whole day which took place at Lytham Hall with 120 guests enjoying a lavish buffet in a large marquee on the lawn.

Q. What do Nicole Kidman & Tom Cruise have in common with Paul Rowley and his team?
A. All have been to the Samling at the Doves Nest in the
Lake District.
"This is an incredible hotel which is hired out in its entirety", explained Paul. "You cannot book a room, you have to book the entire hotel which is what Cruise and Kidman did."
In respect of Rowleys, it wasn't a lavish weekend away, but a prestigious wedding which took them to the exclusive hideaway.
"We were asked to cater for a wedding by an overseas couple who wad hired the Samling", continued Paul, "It wasn't just the venue which was different, the happy couple also wanted a Round the World Theme' when it came to the food. We were working in a marquee preparing dishes like Stir Fries, Peking Duck, Fatijas and Lamb Rogan Josh!

2004 was another exciting year for Rowleys Catering for many of the prestigious marquee events in the local area and spreading our wings as far as the Lake District and Cheshire.
For five consecutive years, we catered for the majority of events at Lytham Hall.

The Lindum Hotel also had a very successful year with the standard of food comtributing to the hotel being awarded a Silver Tourism Awardfor being runner - up in the best hotel of the year by the North West Tourist Board.
This year, Paul is one of the guest chefs in Life Magazine, The new saturday suppliment in the Evening Gazette.
